Ctr. - Fayetteville, AR Education Level: High School Diploma or GED Salary Range: Undisclosed Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Patient Care Description Position Summary The role of the Cath Lab Student Radiological Tech reports to the Cardiovascular Services Manager. This position, under close supervision of a Radiology Tech, is responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiovascular procedures as ordered by the physician. Essential Position Responsibilities Provide care to patients with procedures in the cardiac Cath lab and electrophysiology lab under supervision and direction of the physician or Radiology Tech Assist with prepping patients and patient care areas for procedures Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients Assist with coordinating care between interdisciplinary teams Qualifications Education: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited radiologic technology program or registry eligible with temporary licensure Licensure and Certifications: CPR, required. Experience: Previous experience of radiologic practices as generally associated with completion of one year of an accredited radiology program, required. Work Environment: This position spends 70% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs. This position spends 30% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment.
