We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work on a wide range of innovative projects, including bridge and rail constructions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, particularly in bridge structural design, inspection, and load rating analysis. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and is passionate about infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Designing, inspecting, and analyzing load rating of various structures.
2. Developing detailed structural designs for new and existing structures.
3. Coordinating with architects, construction managers, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
4. Conducting risk assessments and preparing safety reports.
5. Providing technical advice to team members and clients.
6. Reviewing blueprints and plans for potential structural issues.
7. Using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed structural designs.
8. Managing and leading projects from conceptualization to completion.
9. Ensuring all projects comply with safety regulations and building codes.
10. Continually improving and updating knowledge and skills, staying aware of industry trends and advancements in technology.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
2. A minimum of 5-10 years of experience working as a Structural Engineer, preferably on bridge or rail projects.
3. Current licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.)
4. Proven experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.
5. Strong knowledge of CAD software and other engineering design tools.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Strong knowledge of industry safety standards and building codes.
10. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
