Responsibilities

Analyze project goals and perform structural calculations.

Design structural elements of each project using computer software like AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, RISA or Plant3D.

Make recommendations for materials to use and safety measures to take.

Review shop drawings and provide feedback to colleagues.

Skills and qualifications

Drafting Technology degree or education

Working experience in AutoCAD, Revit and Inventor software.

Experience designing industrial facilities, equipment, structural steel, and foundations.
