What You Will Do As the Stormwater Reviewer, you will use your civil engineering experience to review stormwater design for compliance with sound engineering practices and technical requirements. Your expertise will impact permitting and development processes through the evaluation, inspection, and approval of designs. The Bureau of Resource Management will rely on you to assist engineers and surveyors navigate local and state stormwater requirements. Essential Duties Apply principles, laws, and regulations related to stormwater management and construction design. Assist stormwater management design for retrofit and grant projects. Review development plans and permit applications for adherence to codes, regulations, and best practices. Administer circulation of mylars for approval. Assist with tracking, data management, inspections, and technical support for projects and stormwater facilities. Work includes occasional field visits to project sites. Invite collaboration and seek learning opportunities. Proactively assist peers to create a supportive work environment. Ensure all work is complete and timely to support department goals. Evaluate feedback and procedures to improve efficiency. Exhibit integrity, ethics, and fiscal responsibility. Licenses Preferred Engineer in Training (EIT) license Additional Information Requires criminal background check as condition of employment. Supervised by a licensed Professional Engineer. Working Conditions Occasional exposure to potentially adverse weather conditions. Work includes occasional physical activity: standing/walking, lifting, and related activities.
