Store Shipping Coordinator

We have an opportunity for a leadership position as a Store Shipping Coordinator .

This position will oversee the daily shipping operations within our store's Shipping & Receiving Department. This is a hands-on role working directly on the shipping floor, leading the team in efficiently handling, packaging, and shipping parts. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in logistics, packaging, and shipping environments. Demonstrates strong leadership and organizational skills while performing day-to-day tasks.

Applicants should have strong organizational skills and be able to communicate with a wide range of internal and external customers.

Regular duties will include:

Lead and direct daily shipping activities on the shipping floor.
Participate in preparing and processing shipments including picking, packaging, labeling, and loading parts.
Collaborate with the Parts Department Leader to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Supervise and train shipping team members.
Utilize VHI software programs to track orders and verify shipment details.
Ensure all shipping documentation is completed accurately and timely.
Address and resolve issues related to shipping discrepancies, delays, and team member concerns.
Uphold safety guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.

Hours: Generally 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday mornings on a rotational basis.

Compensation: This position pays an hourly rate ranging from $24.00 - $27.00/hour dependent upon experience.
