  • Retail Store Associates may be eligible to participate in the quarterly sales bonus program. Store bonus payout eligibility is determined by performance to the quarterly sales plan which may be prorated depending on various factors.



Your role at Tumi:



As part of our Retail team, the Stock Manager is responsible for supporting a client experience that accurately reflects the ethos of our brand while building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving sales through outstanding service, stockroom organization and inventory controls.



The ideal candidate is committed to supporting client service, demonstrating a strong understanding of, if not passion for, the luxury, travel, fashion, and lifestyle markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance to Goals:


  • Support team in meeting and exceeding individual and store baseline goals for personal sales and KPI metrics inclusive of conversion, DPT, UPT and Client Data Capture.



Leadership and Initiative:


  • Display a good sense of initiative, able to plan and prioritize, display strategic thinking, and champion change in an effective manner.
  • Take pride in work and strive for excellence.
  • Take responsibility for performance and complete all assigned tasks and meet deadlines.



Operations/Problem Solving and Compliance:


  • Timely process all incoming shipments, transfers, RTV's and repairs.
  • Verify that delivery quantities received match packing slips and ensure discrepancies are reported on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Maintain stockroom organization and cleanliness.
  • Monitor inventory levels to maximize efficiency. Replenish the flow of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor daily.
  • Participate in formal bi-annual or annual inventory audits.
  • Maintain an up-to-date list of all offsite inventory, if applicable. Review product reporting weekly/monthly. Partner with manager weekly on inventory and supply needs.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Manage personal timecards to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Maintain Tumi University Training.



Communication and Relationship Building:


  • Exercise strong written and verbal skills.
  • Adapt communication skills upwards, laterally and to their team.
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct when completing job duties.
  • Promote the organization's business goals and adapt flexibly to change.
  • Ability to remain calm and deescalate situations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team.
  • Monitor and assist with the training and development for stock associates.



Visual Merchandising/Client Experience:


  • Ensure the store follows the visual guidelines and directives.
  • Prepare for and participate in floor moves and promotion changes.
  • Ensure a consistent superior client experience.




Qualifications:


  • Understand the TUMI brand and have true passion for the lifestyle, clients, and product assortment.
  • Value a collaborative environment and have an openness to feedback.
  • The retail team stands, moves around the store, lifts, pushes boxes that weigh 30 pounds, and uses a ladder to complete job duties.
  • For stores with off-site storage locations, have a valid state driver's license.
  • Have strong sales and client experience, preferably in the luxury market.
  • Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, mornings, and holidays as needed.
  • Have a strong sense of integrity and an ability to lead by example.
  • Have strong time management skills.
