Position Overview: As a Steel Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of steel structures and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the advancement of the steel industry.
Responsibilities:
  1. Design and analyze steel structures, including but not limited to buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities.
  2. Develop detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications using relevant software tools.
  3. Conduct feasibility studies and assess the structural integrity of existing steel infrastructure.
  4. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.
  5. Perform site visits and inspections to evaluate construction progress and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting the steel engineering field.
  7. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and support staff as needed.
  8. Participate in project meetings, presentations, and client discussions to communicate project status and address any concerns.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in steel engineering, with a focus on structural design and analysis.
  3. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  4. Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g., AISC, ASCE) governing steel construction.
  5. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  8. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
