Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead on up to 100% review of State Income and Franchise tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Demonstrate a strong grasp of state tax laws and execute Nexus studies with precision.
- Conduct tax research and craft insightful memorandums to inform strategic decision-making.
- Embrace opportunities to delve into consulting work and gain strong compliance experience.
- In this role, you'll dive into diverse engagements across a range of exciting industries, including Manufacturing, Distribution, Real Estate, Construction, Tech, among others.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Tax.
- Pursuing CPA, JD, CMI or CCIP or be CPA eligible.
- Bring at least 2 years of SALT experience in a mid-sized public accounting firm.
