Job Title: Staff Pharmacist
Location: Byfield, MA
Duration: 3 months (possible extension)
Notes: Five days M-F 2 shifts 9 am -5:30pm 3 shifts 12:30-9 OR Four days M-F 1 shift 9-7:30 3 shifts 10:30-9 Week one only 9-5:30 M-F for training
Duties:
- These positions will be onsite at the Byfield, MA location - candidates must be locally sourced.
- Interprets physicians' prescriptions and compounds and dispenses medications within regulatory guidelines.
- Consults with customers regarding use of medications and potential drug interactions.
- Counsels customers and handles complex problem resolution.
- Performing first and second verification of prescription orders, performing DUR's, outreach to prescriber offices.
- Fielding phone calls from patients as well as prescriber's offices
Education:
- Requires a RPh license.
