Staff Nurse

Memorial 6 South consists of 26 private rooms. The types of patients seen on Memorial 6 South include: medical patients with an oncology diagnosis, medical patients admitted with hematological disorders, patients undergoing surgical or diagnostic oncology procedures, patients requiring administration of chemotherapy and/or blood/blood products, patients admitted for radium/iridium implants, post-ICU or step-down transfer patients whose primary diagnosis is oncology related and patients requiring IV conscious sedation for oncological procedures. BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE POSITION The primary responsibility of this position is to provide clinical leadership and direction of patient care, provide patient and family teaching, and work cooperatively within the interdisciplinary health care team in maintaining standards of nursing care within the framework of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
