Staff Engineer

Eligible to telecommute up to 2 days/week from home office within normal commuting distance from the main office in Rancho Cordova, CA. Join the firm as a Water Resources Engineer as part of our hydraulics and hydrology team. Essential Responsibilities & Duties: Conduct hydrologic, hydraulic analyses to solve complex water resources problems over a wide range of applications. Develop numerical models for hydrologic, hydraulic, and reservoir operations studies. Perform hydraulic design of culverts, pumps, open channels, and other hydraulic structures. Coordinate and communicate with internal and external clients. Prepare detailed technical reports and memoranda and present technical information to peers and clients. Prepare proposals and participate in business development efforts. Requirements: Must have Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. Must have 3 years of civil engineering experience working with HEC models such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or HEC-ResSim. Must be willing and have the ability to travel locally on a weekly basis to construction project sites.
