Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Staff Accountant for a contract position This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in accounting, who is ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of accounting tasks, including journal entries, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR). This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar capacity.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
2. Manage all aspects of AP and AR functions, including invoicing, collections, payments, and vendor management.
3. Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings and annual budget.
4. Perform monthly reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts.
5. Review and verify financial statements and reports, reconcile any discrepancies or inaccuracies.
6. Ensure compliance with all internal processes and legal standards.
7. Collaborate with other departments to improve financial procedures, and assist with special projects as needed.
8. Handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2+ years of proven experience as a Staff Accountant, or in a similar role.
