Job Details

Responsibilities:

Conduct reconciliations for bank and major balance sheet accounts
Investigate and resolve account discrepancies as they arise
Develop reconciliation schedules
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including analysis
Assist with year-end audit and preparation of tax return schedules
Generate journal entries
Aid in monthly sales and use tax filings
Oversee employee credit card travel accounting and reconciliation
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2-3 years of relevant experience
Exceptional organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail
Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and troubleshoot problems
Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a tenacious attitude toward task completion
Proficiency in office software suites such as Google Office Suite or Microsoft Office
Strong spreadsheet skills
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Salesforce-related ERP, Oracle Netsuite, SAP, Sage, MS Dynamics, etc.)
Familiarity with or other Accounts Payable systems
Understanding of credit card payment processes across various platforms like Stripe, Authorize.net, Braintree, etc.
Experience with expense management systems such as Expensify or Concur (preferred)
Knowledge of sales tax compliance software such as Avalara, Shopify, etc. (desired)
Ability to quickly adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment
Authorization to work in the United States
