Our client, a growing nationwide company, has an immediate need for a Staff Accountant. The staff accountant will report directly to the assistant controller and be primarily responsible for general accounting functions and month end support.

Duties include:
- Timely and accurately processing of vendor invoices
- Resolve and support invoicing discrepancies
- Balance sheet entries and reconciliations
- Recording of recurring transactions
- Preparing month end close journal entries
- Reconciliation of corporate credit card accounts
- Assisting with annual audit, providing supporting documentation for auditors
- Other duties as assigned
Candidates for the staff accountant position should have 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is also required.
