Job DetailsThe Staff Accountant is responsible for all areas related to financial reporting and the development and maintenance of accounting practices and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
- Prepare financial statements
- Ensure accurate and timely month and year end close
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Perform accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, sales tax, and fixed assets
- Work with internal staff and external auditors to ensure clean and timely audits
- Assist with quarterly inventory counts and job costing
- Fulfill ad hoc report requests
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Experience using SAP is a plus
