Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Maintain accurate financial records, record transactions, prepare journal entries, and reconcile accounts
- Assist in preparing financial statements like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Analyze past financial data and trends to support the budgeting process and forecast future financial performance
- Conduct variance analysis, assess the financial impact of decisions, and provide recommendations for improvement
Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:
- B.S. Accounting or other related field
