Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of federal and multi-state corporate, personal, trust and nonprofit tax returns.
- Preparation of compilation, review, and audited financial statements.
- Review, adjust, and close books and records for small to mid-size clients.
- Assist clients with QuickBooks.
- Manage select client engagements.
- Interact and consult with clients daily.
- Direct supervision and training - mentoring and in-house guidance.
- Minimal travel (locally) for appointments only.
Desired Qualifications:
- CPA is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and CCH ProSystem Tax is preferred.
Salary range - $65,000-$90,000
