Staff Accountant
About the Staff Accountant Role: As a valued member of our growing accounting team, the Staff Accountant is at the heart of our commitment to efficient, accurate, and timely reconciliation of various trial balance accounts. Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Reconcile the intercompany activity over multiple divisions
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Reconcile key balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries through manual entry and excel upload
- Research and resolve general ledger discrepancies and issues
- Participate in the month-end close
- Prepare and distribute financial statements and management reports
- Protect financial operations by keeping information confidential
Education and requirements of the Staff Accountant:
- Proficient in Excel, MS Suite (Access, Teams, Outlook), and other Microsoft products
- 2-3 years general accounting or auditing experience
- Bachelor's in Accountancy
