Our manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Permanent Staff Accountant to join our team. This hybrid role combines the traditional responsibilities of a Staff Accountant with the opportunity to work remotely. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks that are crucial to managing our company's financial health. Responsibilities:

As a Staff Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

1. Managing and processing expense reports, billing, collections, and tax filings.
2. Handling ACH payments and check runs, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely.
3. Preparing and analyzing aging reports to monitor the company's financial status.
4. Conducting financial reporting and analysis to provide insights and recommendations.
5. Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger on a regular basis.
6. Ensuring compliance with financial accounting standards and regulations.
7. Conducting auditing tasks to identify and rectify any discrepancies or issues.
8. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
9. Identifying and analyzing variances, providing explanations, and proposing solutions.
10. Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient financial management.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or other relevant professional certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in expense reports, billing, collections, tax filings, ACH payments, check runs, and aging reports.
4. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, financial analysis, general ledger, financial accounting, auditing, budgeting, and variance.
5. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
6. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
10. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
