Our client, a thriving and profitable organization, has an immediate need for a new staff accountant. The staff accountant will report directly to the controller and will be primarily responsible for general accounting functions.
Due to the company's success, this position is an addition to the current staff. Duties include:
- Reconciling expense reports.
- Credit card reconciliations.
- Preparing journal entries.
- Assisting with sales/use tax.
- Review of balance sheet accounts.
- Assisting in month end close.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Candidates for the staff accountant position should have 2+ years of general ledger experience and a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; or 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience.
