We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Permanent Staff Accountant to join our clients vibrant team. This role will provide you with an opportunity to showcase your financial acumen and contribute to the financial health and growth of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial information through compliance with appropriate GAAP standards, preparing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, and managing cost accounting.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and analyze these statements to provide insights into the financial health of the company.
3. Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting, to support decision-making.
4. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
5. Manage cost accounting processes, including inventory valuation, cost of goods sold calculation, and overhead allocation.
6. Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and financial plans.
7. Work closely with external auditors during the annual audit process.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and financial policies and procedures.
9. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Details

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 7 years of experience in general ledger, financial analysis, cost accounting, financial accounting, and preparing financial statements.
3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
4. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
