Sr. Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer Location Ft. Campbell, KY 42223 US (Primary) Job Type Full-Time Education Bachelor's Degree How much will you travel if the job requires it? 0 - 25% Minimum Security Clearance Required Secret Job Description The position is eligible for a hiring bonus up to 10% of the first year's annual salary. Provide engineering support to Systems Integration and Maintenance Office (SIMO) with the primary area of emphasis to UAS/MQ-1 programs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY: Develop test plans, coordinate test activities to include test range scheduling and planning, data collection and processing. Apply and administrate the requirements of AR 70-62 as they apply to Army Special Operations Aircraft. Participate as a member of Technical Interface Meetings (TIM), Program Reviews, Test Integration Working Groups (TIWG), and System Safety Working Groups (SSWG). Participate in aerial flight in a Flight Test Engineering capacity. Work closely with engineering counterparts, to include, but not limited to the Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED), and Technology Application Program Office (TAPO). Perform routine clerical, administrative, and logistics tasks as required in support of the SIMO. Possesses a Secret or Interim Secret security clearance. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Medium/50 lbs. maximum lifting with frequent lift/carry up to 25 lbs. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Job Requirements MINIMUM SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 15 years' experience with military rotary wing aircraft. Minimum of 10 years' experience working in military/commercial aviation. Minimum of 5 years' experience with planning and conducting flight tests. At least 10 years' experience working in Special Operations Aviation. At least 3 years' exposure to the Defense Acquisition process. Currently possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret or Interim Secret security clearance . Education: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field. Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical engineering is highly desired.
