Senior Tax Accountant

We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Accountant who is eager to grow both personally and professionally while delivering exceptional service to our discerning clientele. Our firm prides itself on maintaining the highest standards of integrity while navigating complex estates within a stimulating and nurturing environment.

Qualifications:

4+ years of taxation experience, specifically with high net worth clients and complex estates.

Strong desire to work in a dynamic environment that fosters mentorship and professional development.

Previous experience at Big Four firms is highly desirable.

CPA license is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Prepare tax returns for individuals, business entities, trusts, and estates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.

Compute estimated federal and state income tax payments and handle amended returns and carryback claims.

Provide personalized tax projections and oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual payroll tax returns and property tax claims.

Proactively engage with clients to gather necessary information, develop tax strategies, and address any tax-related issues or audits.

Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations to enhance business and accounting procedures.

Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and reporting requirements, as well as advancements in tax preparation and accounting software programs.

Education and Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Accountancy.

Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Staff Accountant specializing in taxation.

Full-time, on-site position, Monday through Friday.
