Sr Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Overview Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Sr. Systems Engineer on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission. The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally. Responsibilities Contributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projects Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology Coaches, provides guidance, and unblocks less-experienced professionals in their tasks Determines the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time Works with the team to plan future sprints, define stories and estimate efforts Prepares and produces releases of software components May serve as a team or task lead Qualifications Clearance Required: TS/SCI with eligibility to obtain CI poly Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technicaldiscipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. 5+ years of related software development experience Required Skills: Expert in Python language (or similar) Strong experience building and working with container images (Kubernetes, Docker) Strong understanding of DevSecOps and software/application development processes Experience deploying to RedHat Openshift Container Platform Experience writing infrastructure as code (Helm/Terraform) Experience with utilizing CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus Experience with deploying to on prem/data center infrastructure Experience using Jira and Confluence on a daily basis Demonstrated ability to creatively solve technical problems Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a small team Desired Skills: Experience with ElasticSearch, GoLang Experience with GraphDBs (Neo4j/RedisGraph) Experience with Messaging Systems (NATS Jetstream/Pulsar) About Abile Group, Inc.
