Sr Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Overview
The Senior Systems Engineering position is a full-time exempt position. The individual will provide expertise in Requirements Development, Architecture/CONOPs, Data Analysis, Software/Systems Integration and Troubleshooting. The Senior Systems Engineer will report a Team Lead. Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system and subsystem requirements

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test procedures, and test schedules

• Support architecture development and CONOPs

• Lead system design and implementation of new tactical capabilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and utilize various simulation tools to support data analysis

• Create presentations and reports in support of contract specific requirements

• Lead the development of documentation and present technical results to technical leads, management, and/or customers

• Support program meetings and technical reviews with internal and external customers

• Work with limited supervision and take ownership of projects to achieve schedule, financial, and technical goals as assigned

• Support other duties as assigned Skills and Competencies

• BS degree in Computer, Software or Engineering discipline required

• At least 10 years' experience required preferably in the DoD industry

• Experience in all phases of Software and Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle including requirements, design, code, test, and integration

• Experience developing in a team-based development environment such as Agile Scrum

• Knowledge of surface and air radar architecture - Naval Combat System Experience and/or CEC

• Experience with agile project management, including project estimating, reporting, and backlog management

• Experience with modeling and simulation of embedded software

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, and modeling & simulation tools

• Demonstrated experience with Sensor Integration and Tracking

• Familiarity with the following Tools: Git, Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence), Jenkins, Eclipse, DOORS, Rhapsody

• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
