Title: Sr SW Test Engineer (REMOTE) - 3 Openings
Location: Remote

Description:

Must have knowledge of Android and/or iOS devices, including debugging, installation, and configuration.
Must have proficiency with SW automation testing preferably with Mobile Automation
Must have experience with design, develop, execute, and maintaining automated and manual test scripts and frameworks.

Within the RandD Software VandV team, our goals are to be best in class in test strategy, automation, implementation, and efficiency. This Senior level role will work cross-functionally within VandV, software development teams, and leadership to define, drive, and implement advanced automation techniques, technology, and strategy across all project workstreams. The Sr. SW Test Development Engineer will contribute to the full life cycle of software products in a fast-growing organization.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven, experienced in test automation and infrastructure and capable of making the changes necessary to increase the automation coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness. The candidate will have proven experience leading projects, in test framework design and implementation, CI/CD integration, daily regression environments, and broad knowledge of various test functions and types such as integration, functional, load/performance, user workflows, system, and mobile. The candidate recognizes the value of effective testing that is traceable to specifications and is compliant with regulatory expectations.

This Engineer analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action, consults with software development engineers in resolution of problems and is responsible to train junior engineers for the tasks required to complete and be a mentor to support engineers' growth.

This Engineer will ensure the quality promise is upheld by measuring quality performance and making sure QA resources, tools, and processes are available to those who need them. They will facilitate communication between functional teams and work closely with team members to achieve results aligned with the overall project goal.

Where you come in:
You will participate in the development of software requirements and design specification.
You will participate in building quality into products by writing automated tests and performing tests including ad hoc testing throughout the development cycle.
You design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts to test the functionalities of the Client CGM software, and system.
You document software verification test protocols, and software risk analyses, for software used in commercial products.
You will create verification and validation test plans, test reports, traceability matrices and review with relevant stakeholders.
You will analyze failures and collaborate with development teams to ensure root cause is investigated.
You will contribute to release process improvements.
You will provide technical guidance and mentorship for junior engineers.
You are a team player and will work well with teammates.


What makes you successful:
You have proficient knowledge of OOP languages such as JAVA, Kotlin, Swift, Python and Ruby.
You understand good software development and testing practices.
You have excellent oral communication skills for interfacing with peers in internal/external departments.
You have strong written skills and ability to follow Client software procedures and generate required software documentation.
You have knowledge of Android and/or iOS devices, including debugging, installation, and configuration.
You have proficiency with SW automation testing preferably with Mobile Automation including Appium, XCUI Test, Espresso, Earl Grey and UI Automator.
You have knowledge and experience working with software bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, Rational and test case management tool such as Test Rail, Rational, Xray
You have knowledge and experience with requirements management tools such as IBM Rational Doors, Jama Software, HP Application Lifecycle Management
You have experience with automation test frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestCafe, Appium, NightwatchJS or Cucumber


Travel Required: Up to: 15-25%
