Lead FPGA Electrical Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Title: Lead, FPGA Electrical Engineer Job Code: 617 Job Location: Clifton, NJ Relocation packages available to qualified candidates Job Description: FPGA design for Space Systems, with a focus on PNT (Precision Navigation Timing) products.
Cross-functional development involving Systems, Software, and Project Engineering teams. Decompose and allocate system and box-level requirements to FPGA specifications.
Architect Med/High Complexity solutions targeting FPGAs against requirements and implement those solutions in FPGA platforms.
Map FPGA simulation work products to system-level requirements and capabilities
Follow a formal FPGA Development Process.
Follow consistent firmware development processes across FPGA designs.
Ensure the FPGA simulations verify performance, then integrate and test the FPGA on the circuit card assembly. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineer, or related field and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
5+ years experience with High Complexity FPGA Digital Design Techniques and Devices.
4+ years experience debugging down to the hardware level & experience using Signal Generators, Logic Analyzers, Digital Oscilloscopes and Embedded FPGA Debugging tools.
Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Additional Skills MSEE or PHD, Computer Engineering or related field.
FPGA: Mentor Graphics ModelSim/Questa, Synopsis Synplicity, Microchip Libero, Xilinx ISE, Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus, Real Intent CDC & Linting.
FPGA: UVM, OVM, SystemVerilog, SystemC, HLS.
FPGA: Bring-up of advanced FPGA products like SoC, MPSoC, RFSoC, ACAP, etc.
General: DevOps, Microsoft Office, DOORs (Requirement Specification and Tractability), Revision Control (CVS, SVN, GIT, etc), JIRA, Confluence, Linux.
Programming in C, C , Python, TCL.
Circuit Cards: Schematic Entry, PCB/PWB Layout/Route.
