Sr. Software Engineer
Location: Chantilly, VA, Centennial, CO, and Tucson, AZ.
Required Clearance: Top Secret/SCI U.S. Citizenship Mandatory: Due to our US federal government contract, candidates for this position are required to be a US Citizen and will be subject to a background investigation. Job Responsibilities: Designing and implementing real-time cloud processing solutions, advanced signal processing, and geolocation algorithms using efficient software. Testing these solutions with real data and delivering applications to customer facilities.
Creating user-friendly interfaces and data visualization tools.
Offering technical leadership to junior team members, mentoring engineers to enhance their skills.
Keeping abreast of the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies, and integrating innovative solutions into projects.
Engaging in all aspects of functional areas: systems engineering, development, integration and testing, deployment, and operations, and gaining direct mission feedback from customers to make impactful contributions.
Actively proposing enhancements to applications and frameworks. Required Skills: Extremely skilled in contemporary software engineering practices, focusing on testability and readability.
Expertise in C and Python for engineering and scientific tasks within LINUX environments.
Proven track record of providing technical leadership, guiding junior team members, and mentoring engineers.
Demonstrated capability in designing software systems architecture to meet functionality, performance, scalability, and maintainability standards.
Possess a degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and brings a minimum of 6 years' experience in software engineering disciplines.
