Sr Software Developer

You will be: Engage in complete redesign of legacy systems and implementation of new, modern, scalable and robust systems for online brokerage services firm. Design and develop financial applications for clearing, risk management, accounting, and treasury operations. Investigate production issues and resolve them in a timely manner. Parse, process, and integrate data from various internal and external sources. Review code changes made by other developers to ensure correctness, efficiency, readability, and conformity with best practices. Participate in the creation of business and technical specifications. Hybrid work: 3 days/week in Greenwich office required. Remote work permissible 2 days. You will need to have: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field 5 years of experience as a Sr. Software Developer or a related position developing software applications in the financial services industry Three (3) years of experience in each: o 1) Java, J2EE and JDBC for developing back-end applications; o 2) Developing and implementing large scale applications; o 3) HTML and JavaScript for creating interactive web applications; o 4) SQL to execute queries and PL/SQL to execute procedures, functions and packages in Oracle RDBMS. o 5) Spring Java Framework and REST services; and o 6) Linux/Unix operating system.
