Job Description

The Segment Marketing Manager is responsible for the implementation and execution of new business marketing strategies across influencers and distribution channels to achieve the P&L objectives of the Strategic Business Units (SBUs). We are looking for someone who is skilled at building alignment and engagement when leading cross-functional teams including Category Management, Business Development, Sales, Digital/eBusiness, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Consumer Market Insights (CMI), Marketing Communications, Global Brand Development (GBD), and IT.

This role is designated as a hybrid role which includes working in-office at least 3 days per week(Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) in North Olmsted, OHto foster better collaboration, connection, and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Co-lead the development of business strategies (specifically for water quality and whole home water management) in partnership with category management, business development and sales teams.
  • Understand P&L objectives to make sound go-to-market recommendations to drive top and bottom lines.
  • Manage the New Business ASM budget
  • Lead cross-functional teams via execution of strong project management for new product / channel launches.
  • Operate as the new business lead and collaborate with Segment, Channel, Business Development, Sales, Category Management, RGM, CMI, Marketing Communication, IT, and GBD in the areas of:
    • Program development and implementation for influencers and distribution channels
    • Marketing Collateral, merchandising, presentation, and training delivery
    • Trade show / event coordination and collateral development
  • Lead the creation of a comprehensive ongoing new business situation analysis that monitors sales, margin, and volume across channels. Develop and improve channel annual plans to address unexpected challenges.
  • Develop comprehensive measurement tools to evaluate program/promotional effectiveness and recommend changes and improvements as required.
  • Build and maintain expertise through field travel, attendance at industry events, competitive analysis, and close collaboration with segment, sales and category management partners.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in marketing, Business or a related field is required; MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing and/or sales experience is required. Experience within the Consumer/Durable Goods industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, collaboration, engagement and building trust.
  • Demonstrated solid analytical skills and problem-solving ability with basic financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.
