Job Title: Sr. Program Manager S4 Hana Data Migration

Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid Onsite)

Duration: Long term


Job Description:

As a member of the S4H Program Team, this Program Manager will be responsible for overall data transformation/migration from SAP ECC to S4 HANA including planning, issue/risk/defect management, coordination of team interdependencies such as platform preparation, and data validation.


Key Skillsets/Experience:

  • Work closely with data transformation/migration vendor team and all program tracks of work involved/impacted with migration
  • Prepare holistic plan, track execution and update SAP ECC to S4 HANA detailed data migration activities that span across teams for each migration iteration
  • Experience with S4 HANA, preferably brown field S4H migration
  • Coordinate execution with all involved and impacted teams across all tracks of work
  • Experience preparing system platform for data migration execution
  • Manage setup of system integrations (interfaces) with S4 HANA
  • Coordinate Quality Assurance (QA) and reconciliation of migration results
  • Prepare reporting and migration work dashboard with migration success metrics

Requirements


  • 7-10+ years of Program Management experience (understanding/working on large end-to-end programs)
  • Drive migration execution by monitoring status, gathering stakeholder responses and needs, and progress to plan
  • Personality and presence to interact effectively with team members through executive-level stakeholders
  • Program/Project management experience using a formal methodology including Agile, scrum, Waterfall
  • Proven ability to manage complex project plans, scope, schedule, cost, quality, stakeholder communication, staffing, risks and issues
  • Ability to multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative and proactive problem solver self-motivated with ability to work well in teams and cross-departments
  • Own the outcome for the successful data transformation/migration for each cycle, not just the deliverables
  • Advanced skills in SharePoint, JIRA, MS Office Excel and PowerPoint

Educational Qualifications:

  • Required - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
  • Preferred - Master s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.

Travel:

  • Open to travel based-up on the nature of the engagement.
