Sr Product Development Program Manager with Security Clearance

What you'll do We are seeking a Product Development Program Manager to lead programs for military and government applications. In this role you will direct the development and delivery phase of programs from inception through completion. You will work with a variety of engineering teams (system architects, electrical design, software, mechanical, engineering analysis, special test equipment, integration and test), manage schedule and performance risk, meeting commitments and anticipating and circumventing problems. Additionally, you'll develop customer relationships and working effectively with functional areas within the company, and will lead, advise and motivate cross-discipline teams across multiple organizations and geographic sites. The day-to-day Working both internally and externally to lead the development efforts of groundbreaking technology in the encryption and space fields
Lead proposal teams to capture new business and grow the current product line
Study market trends to assist in the development of product roadmaps and market strategies What you'll need 10+ years' experience with Program Management supporting government programs, with at least 5 years' experience leading technical product development teams
Proven knowledge and experience with project management methodologies
Opportunity and risk identification, mitigation, and management
Proven experience working with suppliers and subcontractors as an integral part of the deliverables
Consistently supervise and lead the program level milestones, risks, issues and decisions
Extensive problem solving skills, and ability to drive resolutions to a close
Manage program communications internally to teams and externally to customers
Supervise and assess customer satisfaction, quality and profitability
Demonstrated organization skills to manage multiple facets of a large-scale project and to track progress for several programs at once
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels in the organization
Validated knowledge of EVMS practices
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, or equivalent work experience
US Government position. US Citizenship required
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Ability to travel up to 25% What will help you on the job Demonstrated experience with space hardware development programs
Active PMP Certification
Familiarity with security/cyber technologies and IP networking
Experience with leading and writing Government proposals.
Experience developing Space-borne hardware platforms.
