Description:


Demand-to-Supply (DTS) Global Business Process Owner :


The DTS Business Process Owner (BPO) will ensure the digital products & solutions intended to support the global production & manufacturing processes deliver the expected business value and a continuous improvement plan is defined.
The candidate is accountable for the data, dataflow design, implementation and measure of effectiveness in achieving the desired business benefit as envisioned/supported by the Vice President of Operations (Business Owner).
The DTS Business Process Owner will promote a manufacturing process excellence culture by identifying, developing and implementing program initiatives focused on manufacturing process improvement solutions within the highly integrated platform of SAP S4/HANA, SAP-ME, & LIMS.
The individual will lead and direct the activities of Process Experts, Super Users, Specialists and Trainers (where they exist) and directly manage DTS process experts and master data stewards.
The DTS-BPO will work cross functionally with other business and Process Excellence Leaders to ensure a fully integrated, productive and efficient solution across the client.
This role is responsible for the management & integrity of the master data required for successful execution of the process and the improvement of productivity and effectiveness of the client manufacturing digital core solution requiring a sound understanding of SAP, manufacturing execution principles as well as various manufacturing processes with the ability to work cross functionally in a matrixed organization. This individual will participate in developing the Digital Strategy & Road Map for manufacturing and be the primary catalyst to lead implementation, upgrades and develop necessary training packages.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (in addition to what is described above)


Successful deployment of digital solution to drive process standardization and adoption of industry best practice standards across all the client facilities
Partner and influence to set strategy for key process and system improvements to better enable the client manufacturing to achieve strategic business goals. Leverage multiple tools and analytic resources to gain insight into areas for improvement and efficiencies.
Solves & optimizes complex process problems. Positions and influences stakeholders to gain buy-in and alignment for proposed changes and modifications. Provides a clear communication strategy and change management for upcoming changes prior to and during the change process.
Lead all phases of the manufacturing process improvement project life cycle including: project initiation, project development, project implementation and testing, end-user training, following accepted project management best practices for controlling project costs and deliverables.
Conducts internal process benchmarking in partnership with process stakeholders to identify best-in-class solutions as well as areas to enhance performance, efficiency and productivity
Ensure sustainability of all improvements post-implementation by partnering with cross-functional team leaders and process owners to define the optimal performance measurements to track and measure success over time.
Identifies opportunities to better align business processes with overall business strategy and evaluates cost/benefit of changes/modifications.
Manage a team of data stewards & ERP specialists in support of DTS process execution & performance
Develop & implement Master Data Management (MDM) strategies and ensure effective data governance exists to maintain accuracy and integrity of master data.
Establish a methodology and measurement to quantify data quality while defining and driving a program of continuous data quality improvement.
Train, coach and mentor select employees in manufacturing process best practices & principles to help drive transformational change and the development of Subject Matter Experts.


Required Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree / Four-year college degree from an accredited institution
10 + years of manufacturing based experience including business process improvement and quality management experience
Understanding of efficiency principles such as Lean/Six Sigma; Black belt preferred
Experience successfully leveraging business analytics to inform decisions
Systematic problem solver focused on implementing solutions to solve root cause problems
Comfortable with out of the box thinking and challenging status quo
Strong ability to partner across a complex, matrixed organization and influence outcomes at all levels
Ability to communicate and deliver presentations with impact
Solid computer skills (i.e. SAP, SAP-ME (or equivalent), Google platform, Database programs a plus)
Team player who can collaborate to drive better outcomes
Ability to set goals and motivate self
Strong organizational, team-building, and communication skills. The ability to work and navigate within a complex matrixed organization.
Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to assume increasing responsibilities in a rapidly-changing environment.

Highest Level of Education Required for this Position: Bachelor's Degree / Four-year college degree from an accredited institution


Qualifications:


strong SAP knowledge in Demand to Supply Space (planning, mfg, master data)
diversified SAP knowledge preferred with practical experience in supply chain or manufacturing application
Excellent communicator with healthy balance between technical skills and business "sense" or acumen
ability to facilitate and bridge the conversation between business resources and experts to IT resources and experts
capable of writing business requirements document clearly articulating business needs and process requirements that can be effectively translated for technical IT resources to program or configure a solution
energetic problem solver and continuous learner
process oriented, solution focused with ability to assess business impact and prioritize actions based upon business impact or benefits
