Sr. Payroll Operations Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a Sr. Payroll Operations Specialist to join our team, serving as the subject matter expert in end-to-end payroll processes for our client bottler. This role ensures the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, acting as the primary point of contact for all payroll and time-related queries.

Responsibilities:

Execute payroll processing tasks within CONA application for U.S. and Canada bottlers.

Prepare net pay and vendor bank fundings, totaling $240M annually.

Research and resolve payroll errors, including schedule changes, taxation issues, and commission calculations, prior to funding.

Perform payroll audits and bank reconciliations, managing reconciliations and overpayments.

Apply policy or Collective Bargaining Agreement language for non-exempt employee payroll processing.

Calculate and manage overpayment liabilities, communicating directly with associates.

Administer off-cycle transactions such as tax adjustments, bonuses, and severance payments.

Provide support to resolve complex payroll issues including timekeeping and master data.

Assist legal and internal audit inquiries for settlements and grievances.

Deliver superior customer service to client bottler, ensuring service level adherence and accurate processing.

Requirements:

5 years of experience in payroll processing, finance, or HR.

5 years' experience with payroll processing systems.

3+ years' experience with timekeeping systems.

Working knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements and benefit administration.

Excellent analytical and research skills.

Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.

General understanding of HR-related processes and business acumen.

Ability to assess and analyze complex business needs and identify resolutions.

Experience with HR technology.

Proven customer service experience.

Resourceful, highly organized, and able to prioritize.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.
