TITLE: Senior Mechanical Assembler
TYPE: Direct Hire
LOCATION: Fairless Hills, PA
ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: Onsite
SHIFT: 7-3:30 or 8-4, M-F
We are looking for a senior-level assembler who will be responsible for assembling automation equipment/systems utilizing engineering BOMs, blueprints, and schematics.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - Put together complicated automation-style industrial machinery utilizing acceptable mechanical tools.
- Able to understand and read engineering drawings and modifications.
- Primarily mechanical assembly, some electrical connections as needed.
- Working knowledge of mechanical tools used in the assembly process.
- Inspects and tests completed products or sub-assemblies.
- Aid machine operators as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS - Must have a high school education.
- 5+ years of prior mechanical assembly experience in a similar setting.
- Must be able to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to use measuring tools.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of pneumatics and electrical assemblies.
- Forklift operation experience is ideal but not required.
