Sr Manager of Analytics

Utilizes best practices to document technical requirements and coordinate resources to ensure requirements are executed in a timely and complete manner. Actively monitors systems and processes against known performance benchmarks and escalates variances to the appropriate team member for investigation and/or repair. Participates in group meetings as the representative of the data and analytics team to incorporate feedback from the business into technical requirements. Participates and/or leads research and development of new technologies and tools. Documents logic, processes, and systems Act as subject matter expert on the content and interpretation of information within the analytics platform Advises on available analytics portfolio and guides users to the most appropriate information based on their needs. Collects data and formulates intelligence to help achieve business objectives. Actively manages reports for variance from plan and suggests remediations. Fulfills requests for ad hoc analysis. Gathers requirements for future development of analytics tools and processes. Responds to inquiries for clarification and explanation of existing reports. Use SQL to extract data to prepare reports for quality and financial reporting. Trains and supervises two (2) data analysts. Experience: 2 years of experience as a Technical Data Analyst or a closely related occupation. Skills: Experience to include, 2 years of experience in: Collaborate with Operations, Finance and Medical Risk Adjustment teams to identify trends and address issues to optimize program efficiency. Analyze data sources including claims, MRA, membership, encounter data to provide insights on current projects and initiatives. U.S. Master of Science in Engineering Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or Financial Management or a subject matter in a quantitative field. Graduate coursework in any of the above-mentioned subjects to include Analytics (3 credits).
