Job Description:
The Position as a Senior Software Engineer/ Engineer/ Principal Consultant/ general purpose will play an important role in the continued growth and success of the Accela permitting, Inspection solutions land development etc. processes and implementations; by ensuring the successful, on time delivery of large and complex Professional Services implementations or configuration changes. You will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, a must to provide existing knowledge transfer, identifying what needs to be accomplished and partnering with others in the organization to execute to a plan. You will leverage proven processes and templates to deliver projects, while remaining highly adaptable to any complex changing demands from the customer or corporate landscape.
Required Experience:
- 3 years experience working directly with Land Management departments creating, supporting, developing, and implementing internal and external LOB web applications.
- 2 years using, Accela systems, document management, document capture, related equipment, and integration with custom built or third-party application
- Government Enterprise Software 3 years leading successful implementations of Land Development and Civic Platform solutions for Tier-1 government clients
- Complex Projects 3 years leading projects of $1M+ budget, 12+ months duration, and involving more than one government department or group
- Expert using Microsoft Visual Studio (MVS) and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
- Expert in .NET platforms, JavaScript, HTML, Blazor, MVC, Web API, C+, C , CSS, XML ColdFusion
- Experience in developing reports using SQL Report Services
- System Integration experience and Troubleshooting skills are a must have
- Data Structures and database concepts
- Experience with RESTful API design
Responsibilities:
- Complex scripting creation and customization and troubleshooting
- Develop and design Expression, Standard Choices, and ASI Configuration
- Construct API Gateway configuration and troubleshooting
- Develop, Implement, Configure, troubleshoot departments reports using SSRS
- Perform system conversions
- Conduct Business Analysis for system configuration
- Configure Civic Platform and Citizen Portal
- Complex Troubleshooting Global Search and Index
- Configure, modify, enhance, and implement Building and Fire ICBO Fee Structures
- Mobile app configuration, troubleshooting and improvements.
- Provide knowledge transfer of existing applications Complaint Service Request, Fee Calc, Bulk Inspection Scheduling, Quick Reports, Tool Shed, License Tracker, Job Interest Request, Address Manager, Accela Db Proxy and Quick Pay
Soft Skills:
- Demonstrates professional organization, documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates superb analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have experience working with customer leadership and stakeholders and be perceived as an expert in the area you represent
- Must be able to take complex customer and product concepts and articulate them to diverse audiences
