Job Responsibilities
- Provides managerial direction and supervisory role to develop, manage, promote, and integrate all aspects of regional department operations to meet client needs and achieve department and company objectives
- Mentor and develop strong project structural engineering leads and future structural managers emphasizing the client's culture
- Serves as the Structural Engineering Subject Matter Expert in cross-functional projects
- Provide guidance and training to junior level engineers
- Responsible for accuracy and meeting deadlines on engineering deliverables.
- Perform/implement QA/QC procedures on all reports and drawings deliverables
- Perform/manage structural engineering tasks and manage projects as needed
- Responsible for project's budget and profit & loss management for the regional team
- Strategically hires and trains staff to meet department goals and objectives
Must-Have Skillsets
- 5+ years of engineering experience is required
- Willing to travel and perform structural investigation visits is required
- Site Structural Inspection work experience is a required
- Experience with structural engineering software such as RISA 3D, Enercalc, tnxTower, AutoCAD & Mathcad is required
- Extensive technical experience and knowledgeable in Civil, Structural and Geotechnical principles, as well as applicable design guides and standards is required
