We are seeking a qualified Senior IT Project Manager to support the Hill Component Enterprise Data Center IT Operations and Maintenance Services program located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah (HAFB). This program aims to modernize network infrastructure and migrate services into a new AWS Cloud Environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects, providing strategic direction, guidance, and mentorship to project teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with IT projects to ensure successful outcomes.
- Proactively address challenges and obstacles, adapting strategies as needed.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, risks, and key milestones effectively to leadership and project sponsors.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within project teams.
- Encourage open communication, knowledge sharing, and effective problem-solving.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance measures to ensure the reliability and performance of IT solutions.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Business or IT-related field with five (5) or more years of related professional experience OR A Master's Degree and 3+ years of experience OR a PhD and 0+ years of experience may be substituted.
- Must possess an Interim or Active Secret Clearance
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
