We are currently seeking a Senior Healthcare Construction Project Manager in Austin, Texas who has worked on projects that are $100M+ in size and scope.

JOB SCOPE:

Primary project liaison with campus staff, manage projects from initiation through completion of construction. Facilitate timely decisions by campus representatives and report progress and issues impacting the project goals to stakeholders.

Manage facility user groups, operations and administration during design and contract administration to ensure timely input. Resolve conflicts and facilitate decisions to ensure project goals are met.

Manage planning, design, execution of projects by providing project leadership, communication, and coordination.

Responsible for leading meetings with owner, architects and contractors as well as providing leadership in client relations.

Responsible for project budget, scheduling, and procurement of design and construction services. Drive progress of consultants to achieve expected functionality; and recommend alternatives to recover negative drift.

Ensure design and construction documents comply with project requirements. Facilitate timely review of contract documents by engineers and consultants at schematic design, design development, and construction document phases of the work.

Review and approve design, construction contracts, changes, technical service contracts, guaranteed maximum price submittals, bid documents, pay applications, etc.

During construction, direct and/or provide support to Resident Construction Manager, Senior Construction Inspectors, Construction Inspectors, and institution staff in management of construction activities and processes.

Apply project control processes to track progress; for consistency; to mitigate risks; and to assure compliance.

REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering related fields.

Minimum of ten years' experience providing professional project management and leadership with healthcare vertical experience.

Must have solid construction healthcare and research experience.

Experience working on multiple large healthcare projects within the construction industry that are $100M+ is required.
