Sr Hardware Engineer II

Epsilon C5I, Inc. , focusing on software development and systems engineering for complex command, control, intelligence and combat systems, is seeking a Sr. Hardware Engineer II (Engineer, Computer IV) with 10 or more years' experience in San Diego, CA. Duties and Responsibilities: Hardware planning, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, and testing Required Qualifications: Master of Science degree from an accredited college or university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or other related engineering or computer science discipline
Ten or more (10+) years of experience in performing hardware engineering management, reduction, and analysis of data, designing tests, and laboratory analyses, including scientific analyses and interpretation of research results
Ten or more (10+) years of experience with design and development of complex electronic systems with an emphasis in military based tactical communication systems
Candidate must have an active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret level security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if needed.
Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and professional demeanor.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Advanced level user in Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio).
Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens. Pay Range: The pay range for this role is $145,000 to $185,000 annually. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. ADA Notations: Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.
