Job Responsibilities: - Dive deep into a variety of portfolios (active, passive, liquid alternatives) across asset classes (fixed income, equity, commodities, derivatives) and conduct thorough risk analyses.
- Become a Master of Risk metrics. You'll calculate and analyze Value-at-Risk, Tracking Error, Liquidity Ratios, Transaction Costs, and more - all to ensure our strategies are on track.
- Translate complex risk data into clear and concise reports for Fund Board presentations.
- Document your findings meticulously, ensuring clear and transparent risk assessments.
- Be a proactive problem solver, contributing to special projects that enhance our risk framework and tools.
- Prepare Investment Risk materials that will keep our oversight committees informed and confident.
- Maintain accurate risk data - the foundation of our risk management strategy.
To be successful, you'll need:- A sharp mind with a degree in Finance or a quantitative field (think math, statistics).
- At least 4 years of experience wrestling with risk in the financial world (Risk Management, Portfolio Management, Valuation, even Risk Analytics software vendors.).

Is a data whiz with a strong understanding of MS Office Suite and SQL. - A love affair with analytical models - you'll be using them to dissect financial instruments for potential risks.
- Experience with risk management systems - you know how to navigate these powerful tools.
- A hunger for knowledge - having a CFA or FRM designation will definitely make you stand out.
Note:This role is On-Site; thus, open to candidates near/in/around Manhattan, NY.Pay Details: $88.00 per hour
