KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Financial Controller in Healthcare.



We are seeking a highly skilled Controller with healthcare industry experience to join our finance team. The Controller will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance, including knowledge of reimbursement systems, healthcare regulations, and financial reporting standards.



Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and cash flow projections.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory reporting requirements applicable to the healthcare industry.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.

Revenue Cycle Management:

  • Collaborate with revenue cycle management team to optimize billing, collections, and reimbursement processes.
  • Analyze payer contracts and fee schedules to maximize revenue and minimize denials.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to revenue cycle performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Strategic Planning:

  • Provide financial analysis and support for strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital investments.
  • Assist senior management in developing long-term financial plans and business strategies to support organizational growth and sustainability.

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to department managers and staff on financial matters, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
