Sr Director, Thrifty Strategy and Growth Leader
Sr Director, Thrifty Strategy & Growth Leader will play a critical role in expanding the growth and sales of Thrifty Ice Cream outside of the Rite Aid stores and locations. This role will oversee the sales, distribution and growth of the ice cream brand with the expectation that in the future the brand could become a standalone company. The individual will work directly with the CMO to create this expanded business portfolio including defining, scoping, strategy development and implementation of margin accretive sales and distribution opportunities. It is a unique opportunity to leverage the traditional strategy consulting skill set while building upon it, as it will provide an opportunity to "truly own" high visibility projects through execution.The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid's brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.
Job Responsibilities
• Define and deliver on revenue/growth goals with positive contribution to overall financial metrics.
• Lead and develop team in driving Thrifty sales through customer partnerships across all retail sales channels
• Identify and continuously implement efficiencies in all areas of retail customer partnerships, including contract management, logistics, data exchange and processes
• Drive strategies for awareness, adoption and loyalty for national, regional and independent retailers in partnership with marketing leadership across B2B and physical and digital platforms
• Lead team in negotiation, implementation and management of contracts and pricing agreements to maximize retail channel sales and achieve organizational goals
• Lead customer segmentation and retail sales strategy at the overall channel and customer levels,
• Define success for channel and customer levels through clear metrics and tracking
• Lead team in educating Rite Aid organization on distribution footprint dynamics, performance and action plans supporting company goals
• Ensure that department understands and complies with quality standards and requirements as documented.
