Senior Consultant - Outsourced for TEM Platform Management Company Overview

Role Description

Senior Consultant telecommunications billing analyst to manage Calero Hosted Telecommunications Expense Management Platform, provide remote and on-site support, interface with Telecom carriers and client representatives in support of the telecom invoice processing, submitting for approval and payment of invoices be accounts payable. The role is a hybrid position with 3 days remote and 2 days onsite.

Qualifications

Senior Consultant must have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Knowledge and understanding(from a billing perspective) of legacy telco services to include:
  • Business lines and Centrex services
  • Primary rate ISDN services
  • Telco Private line services to include Analog Private line services, DS1, DS3 and Ethernet services
  • Telco long distance usage plans and services
  • Knowledge and understanding(from a billing perspective) of current IP communication services
  • SIP Trunking and VOIP services
  • IP network services to include MPLS and Private IP
  • Internet access services
  • Wireless mobility services(from a billing perspective) from the major carriers
  • AT&T Wireless
  • Verizon Wireless
  • T-Mobile
  • Some experience in Telcom Carrier auditing
  • Prior experience with Hosted Telcom Expense Management (TEM) Platform or on-site TEM Platform
  • Invoice processing
  • Submission of monthly invoices through the TEM platform to client's Accounts Payable team for payment
  • Experience in preparing management reporting from TEM platform
  • Experience and full working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
  • Experience in accessing and working in Telecom carrier portals
  • Downloading carrier billing as requested
  • Downloading reporting as requested
  • Education: Minimum of high school diploma is required, Associates or 4-year college degree preferred
  • Prior Telco Carrier experience and training is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities

Senior Consultant will provide TEM Platform Management to manage the client's(Legacy NU) TEM invoice processing system and software. The resource will work with Calero, the providers, and the internal finance teams to support the processing of invoices and maintain an accurate Calero service inventory. The consultant will oversee the accurate processing of the 71+ client's (Legacy NU) invoices from the following service providers:

  • American Messaging
  • Atlantic Broadband
  • AT&T
  • AT&T Mobility (First Net)
  • Comcast
  • Crocker Communications
  • CVC
  • Evoque
  • Cornerstone/Magna 5
  • Consolidated (Fairpoint)
  • Frontier Communications
  • Granite State
  • Level 3 Communications
  • Crown Castle (Lightower)
  • Richmond Communications
  • Spectrum Communications
  • TDS
  • Spok (USA Mobility)
  • Verizon
  • Verizon Wireless

The services include wireline, wireless, usage accounts, pagers, toll free services, fiber networks, platforms, hosted solutions and other voice and data services. Some of the providers have Portal access which can be used to verify questions and billing issues. The Senior Consultant will have knowledge of all vendor portals and services.

Invoice Processing:

  • Validate that all invoices are loaded into Calero each month
  • Interact with Calero regarding missing or late invoices
  • Review charges on invoices and research anomalies
  • Research and resolve services without a General Ledger account string
  • Assure new services are added to a summary invoice
  • Oversee approval process maintaining SLA and avoiding late charges
  • Assure reverse AP Import files are received from Maximo
  • Work on monthly UVL (Unvouchered Liability) report for finance
  • Track IT budget and variances
  • Track PO budget
  • Prepare POs 2 months in advance of expiration

Services Review and Optimization:

Wireline:

  • Review monthly Calero reports
  • Benchmark pricing
  • Monitor contract compliance
  • Monitor contract expiration
  • Oversee Calero Wireline provisioning
  • Assist users with entering orders
  • Train users on using the VeraSMART portal

Wireless:

  • Review wireless cost variances
  • Monitor contract compliance
  • Monitor contract expiration
  • Assure correct plan assignments
  • Review 0-Usage reports
  • Assure balanced data for tablet and corporate accounts
  • Order cellular and pager lines, equipment accessories, plan, and features
  • Manage SIM card activations for various device and wireless accounts
  • Manage repairs

Provisioning:

  • Interact with users to assure orders are submitted properly and inventory is added to the VeraSMART system
  • The Senior Consultant will adhere to all Pixel Health standards and requirements of employment
  • Input daily time sheets and submit weekly timesheet through Autotask
  • Support client approved software. Have a strong knowledge of current or existing Operating systems and Applications

Salary

$85,000 - $100,000 per year depending on experience
