Job Description:
- As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions.
- You'll collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, analyze processes, and design effective systems to enhance organizational efficiency.
- Your expertise will ensure that our information systems align with business objectives and our defined standards.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business units to understand their needs, document requirements, and translate them into functional specifications using our defined processes and providing mockups.
- Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes, identify pain points, and propose improvements.
- System Design: Collaborate with development teams to design and implement effective solutions. Create system flowcharts, diagrams, and wireframes.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test plans, conduct system testing, and ensure quality and accuracy.
- Change Management: Facilitate smooth transitions during system implementations or upgrades.
- Data Analysis: Extract and analyze data from various sources to inform decision-making.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with business users, IT teams, and management.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Training and Support: Provide training to end-users and offer ongoing support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, process modeling, and system design.
- Familiarity with project management/ Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of SQL, database management, and data visualization tools.
- Experience with Agile methodology.
- Jira and Confluence proficient
