Job Description

The Sr. Manager, Fintech Business Development is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing on partnership opportunities with fintechs across a variety of verticals, ranging from financial services and payment infrastructure to money movers and direct to consumer brands. The role requires an experienced business development or product professional who can build relationships with fintechs, understand their capabilities, identify opportunities for mutually beneficial partnership, structure and negotiate opportunities to help shape Visa's growth.

The opportunity is to join Visa's Digital Partnerships team which works broadly across the payments and fintech ecosystem and closely internally with Visa's product organization as well as other internal stakeholders to execute on partnership opportunities. This role is primarily supporting fintechs through Visa's Fintech Fast Track program. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Business Development:

Identify and pursue partnership opportunities across Visa's products and services, including client incentive deals

Structure and execute commercial agreements

Support fintech client launches, press releases, and other activities

Develop vertical expertise in key fintech growth areas and develop segment strategies to grow Visa's footprint

Represent Visa at industry events and evangelize for Visa's programs and strategic priorities

Program development

Provide strategic input to optimize and grow Visa's Fast Track program

Drive or support project-based program development work

Sales Operations & Analytics

Manage program applicant inbox, as well as client & prospect pipelines for assigned verticals and accounts

Produce analysis and reporting on fintech pipeline, launches, and on ad-hoc basis Perform research and strategic analysis on fintech trends and verticals execution of programs with partners.

Align the cross-functional teams on key proposals including representation, including but not limited to driving consensus amongst Legal, Finance, Marketing, Design, Communications, Risk, etc. teams.

Communication:

Effectively communicate and collaborate with client and Visa stakeholders, cultivating strong relationships at all levels within each organization.

Create high grade deliverables, white papers, and presentations for executive level consumption.

Provide regular reporting, analysis, and relationship updates to senior levels within Visa and partner organizations, mastering the art of both formal and informal executive communication.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
