Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Sr. Biologist to be based in Sacramento, CA. The position is open to remote work.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for supporting the preparation of applications for regulatory permits/amendments, environmental/permit compliance, and procurement of mitigation, as well as preparing and reviewing reports, reviewing design plans, and representing the client in meetings with regulatory agencies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review and provide guidance on permit applications, technical reports, and environmental document sections pertaining to natural resources.

Participate in meetings and review project design documents.

Provide environmental and permit compliance guidance.

Interface with the client, Project/Construction Management, regulatory agencies, and non-governmental organizations.

Prepare documentation necessary to support procurement of compensatory mitigation.
