Sr Associate Supply Chain

In this role the Senior Associate in Supply Chain at Amgen plays a critical role in managing supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics. You will interact on a frequent basis with the Manufacturing, Site Supply Chain, Site Commercialization, Global Supply Chain and Process Development teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will lead the Test Material Inventory Management to ensure on-time qualification of AOH packaging lines. You will also support the AOH Supply Chain transformation into the Digital Age by harnessing the power of state-of-the-art analytics to enhance agility and reliability. You will be responsible for delivering KPI governance and ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives as well as supporting or leading ad-hoc projects. The candidate will also support the on-time delivery of commercial materials for manufacturing operations and the on-time release of finished materials to maintain healthy inventories. The candidate will also function as backup of other Supply Chain Planning processes such as procurement and detail scheduling processes.
Responsibilities may include:
- Manage and own a Test Material Smartsheet Tracker between multiple partners.
- Act as primary liaison between Line Bring-up Project Managers and Supply Chain teams such as transportation, procurement, and warehouse.
- Lead Test Material Tracking Meetings with Bring-up Project Managers, Procurement, Process Development, Packaging Engineering, Tech Transfer, etc. to identify and mitigate material delays.
- Act as primary liaison between Line Bring-up Project Managers and Supply Chain teams such as transportation, procurement, and warehouse.
- Support Cycle counting activities at External Warehouse
- Support Test Material identification
- Collaborate with other Amgen sites to requisition materials needed at AOH
- Collaborate with AOH transportation team to ship test materials between AOH and external warehouse.
- Support commercial materials reclassification to Test Materials
- Support the Integrated Business Planning process for AOH Site, including executive reviews of Demand, Supply Capacity and Inventory Plans, Life Cycle Management and Raw Material Governance
- Support the implementation of Supply Chain operating rhythm governance (WCT, Business Review, etc.)
- Measure and develop reports on Key Supply Chain Key Performance measures and drive continuous improvement using Amgen standard tools and methods
- Ensure maximum use of Supply Chain systems, ensure master data and transactional data accuracy for planning systems and drive data driven decision making
- Clear communication and presentation skills both within and outside operations functions
- Develop solutions to departmental and cross-functional business problems
- Innovate the process for identifying and prioritizing analytics initiatives and build arguments for talent and technology investments
- Respond effectively to crises and resolve issues arising from competing objectives, limited resources, or differing perspectives
- Contribute to strategic decisions affecting operations
- Build cross-functional relationships to develop and garner support for shared programs
- Influence a broad spectrum of partners toward achieving business goals

Basic Qualifications:Masters degree
OR
Bachelors degree and 2 years of supply chain experience
Or
Associates degree and 6 years of supply chain experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of supply chain experience

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
