Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced GAAP Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. You will be a part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and growth. If you have a passion for numbers, an eye for detail, and a strong understanding of GAAP principles, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
2. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
3. Report to management regarding the finances of the organization.
4. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
5. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
6. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
7. Maintain or examine the records of government agencies.
8. Proficient in Excel to process and analyze data.
9. Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, or maintain solutions to business and financial problems.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proven knowledge and expertise in GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
4. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Strong organizational and communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
